I have been emailing with a gentleman who I met off a dating website. We have been communicating for about two weeks. He has told me that he was born in Germany, but resides here on a permanent basis. He says he owns his own company and is working in England at this time. He has sent me three pictures, none of which look professional. He says his name is Bryan Todd and he uses brt1191@yahoo.com as his email address. He says he will be back in the country within the next week, he has not asked anything of me financially as of yet. In fact, he sent me flowers for mothers day. Is this a common practice with someone who might be trying to scam another? I am just wondering if he really is who he claims to be, a coworker of mine said that he could be a scammer and she wants me to be careful. I feel that I have been careful, he knows very little personal information about me, only me email address and my name. When he sent the flowers, it was to a friends house, not my own (which I told him this). He has said some really nice things, but I would never give him any kind of money if he were to ask. I have told him as much, told him that a friend of mine warned me about date scamming and he denies everything. Says he will prove himself when he is back here. Any advice would be appreciated.
